The Impulse

Two men in business suits are sitting at a cafe.

"hows do you order your coffee?"
"cut the crap, why am i here?"
"I want to know about an operation code named Java Jay."
"That's above your clearance Smith"
"Not anymore I'm in charge of all the operations in and out of this office."
"Java Jay is old news we didn't even do it.  We hired out contract military."
"What happened"
"Those x-military #@$#@ disobeyed orders and engaged.  Thought they were being hero's and ended up killing half of the plants engineers.  Korea's mad and wants us to turn them over for war crimes or they will fire on US citizens."
"And have we handed them over?"
"Can't they are contract.  They are protected by diplomatic amenity."
"They disobeyed orders."
"Doesn't matter they are not our men."
"And what about Korea?"
"That's what you don't want to know about."
"I do"
"its called operation Hamilton, its going to be a messy one.  For your own good better to keep your hands clean."
"I am not going to have an operation going on that I don't know about, I'm not sitting on the side lines of this one."
"Don't be on the side lines, don't watch the game, don't even watch the update on ESPN."
"I'm not that kind of director."
"The days are gone where its good guys against bad guys.  Now its a bunch of politicians making deals with each other to clean up the mess.  No one wants to know about operation Hamilton."

Bad Poetry

The littlest leaf

One spring morning
the last leaf fell off the tree.
All the other leafs had changed color
But the littlest leaf had not changed color it was in fact still green.

So that little red leaf fluttered to the earth
just cuz it did
so the fish jumped up and ate a fly.
That fly was like a lost puppy

The puppy or rather fly liked the water until it got eaten
this is why
the puppy found his way home in the end.
because the last leaf on the tree fell to the ground still green not red.

So fly away little leaf because you are like a fly,
who is like a lost puppy,
who gets lost. and can't find his way home
leaf is good now

Direct Orders

Rock out like the world just started.  Rock out like the war over, like no more men will die is some country for freedom.  Rock out like that test is finally over.  like you got the lead solo.  Rock out like its an all day Marathon of NCIS.  Rock out like you got your 1st kiss, like penguins just learned to fly and you taught them.  Rock out like she said yes, like she said i do and like the nurse said its a heath boy.
Rock out like you just hit the winning home run of the world series and you are the champion of the world.  Rock out like you just discover chocolate.  Rock out like your going 85 in your brand new convertible mustang.  Rock out like your in love, rock out like its retirement day. Rock out like you just moon walked on the moon.  And said "its for you Jackson."
Rock out like your so alive and young and you know it.
Rock out everyday because if you don't your not celebrating life.  Celebrate life that's a Direct Order.

Shake the dust

This is for the bird with the broken wing, for the lost child,  and for the last dream.  Shake the dust.
This is for all the mistakes, for the worn problems, and for the forgotten friend. Shake the dust.
This is for the last dollar, the reopened scares.  This is for the Runaway, this is for the last leaf on the tree before it falls the the earth. Shake the dust.
This is for the love taken, and the love returned.  This is for the hungry family, the red balloon, and the unspoken. Shake the dust.
This is for the bottom of the glass, for the last hope, for the road not taken. Shake the dust.
This is for the free puppy that never gets taken home.  This is for the broken guitar string, and the lost music.  Shake the dust.
This is for all those who have lived and hurt.  Shake the dust out of life.  Get all you can out of both good and bad.  Take what you are shake it and become better because of it.  You only get one life to live so shake it and get all the dust you can out of it.
